Founder and curator Lorenzo Washington runs this small museum to preserve the music history of Jefferson Street, a hub for jazz, blues and R&B from the early 1940s. The museum is a site on the U.S. Civil Rights Trail. It is open Saturdays, with weekday visits by appointment.
