The Coil Studio is a Black woman-owned, one-chair studio in Seattle's Central District run by loctician Ruth Gebra. Services include starter locs, retwists, interlocking, loc repair and extensions, box braids, cornrows, two-strand twists, silk presses, color and styles for kids 12 and under. Walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead is recommended.
