MahoganyBooks was founded in 2007 by Derrick and Ramunda Young as an online bookstore for literature by, for and about people of the African Diaspora. The family-run shop now has a store at National Harbor plus locations at Woodmore Towne Centre and Reagan National Airport, and hosts author events across the DMV.
