Founded in 2016, Africatown Community Land Trust works to halt Black displacement and preserve Black presence in Seattle's Central District through land ownership and business development.
Its projects include the Liberty Bank Building's 115 affordable apartments, the William Grose Center and the Benu Community Home shelter.
