Description
Chef Pop Thomas, Willie Fair, and former NFL safety Malik Golden opened Soul Bowls on Wethersfield Avenue in 2022. Diners build bowls from rice, fried chicken, wings, mac and cheese, candied yams, and collard greens, and the Soul Roll packs mac and cheese and yams into a crispy wrapper. A second shop runs on New Britain Avenue in West Hartford.
