Stephanie Hart opened Brown Sugar Bakery on 75th Street in 2002. It is known for caramel cake, along with pineapple coconut and German chocolate cakes, cupcakes, cobblers and handmade candy. Hart later bought her building and opened a manufacturing site to sell beyond the shop.
