Description

Housed in the former Calvary Baptist Church, built in 1917 by its own congregation, this downtown Wichita museum tells the story of African Americans in Kansas. Exhibits cover regional art, history, and community life, and programs include Juneteenth gatherings and Senior Wednesday events. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.
