Description
Dr. James Cameron founded the museum after a 1979 visit to Yad Vashem inspired him to document the history of racial terror in America. The North Avenue museum covers more than 400 years of African American history, and a large virtual museum is online. Its mission centers on racial repair, reconciliation and healing.
