About the business

Small-batch Baltimore coffee roaster with cafes in Station North and Lexington Market

Description

Black Acres Roastery is a small-batch coffee roaster founded by Travis Bell, a former occupational therapist who began roasting in 2018. The name nods to the promise of land for formerly enslaved people. Beans from Africa and South America are roasted in Baltimore and served at the company's cafes, and the coffee is also sold in grocery stores across the Mid-Atlantic.
