Build Coffee & Books is a cafe and community space on South Blackstone Avenue in Woodlawn, open since 2017 and bought in 2025 by writer Eve L. Ewing, organizer trina reynolds-tyler and Andrea Faye Hart. Alongside coffee it now sells books, and it hosts readings, a Saturday market and neighborhood gatherings.
