Kountry Kitchen began in 1988 as Jessie's Place and is now run by Isaac and Cynthia Wilson. It reopened at its original College Avenue spot in October 2023 after a 2020 fire. The menu covers fried catfish, shrimp and grits, ribs and soul food sides, with dine in, carryout, delivery and catering.
