North Carolina's first Black-owned children's bookstore
Description
Victoria Scott-Miller founded Liberation Station in 2019 to stock children's books that reflect Black kids and families. Beyond book sales, the Hill Street shop runs literacy programs, author showcases, story circles and a food and pad pantry. Books can also be ordered online through Bookshop.org.
