Description

Founded in 1968, the Tacoma Urban League advocates for African Americans and other marginalized communities across the South Puget Sound. In 1976 it became the first Urban League affiliate to build and own its own facility.

Its work covers education, economic empowerment, health, housing and justice, including a Black Empowerment Center and business coaching.
