Description

Harold E. Sparks opened The Serving Spoon in 1983, and siblings Justin Johnson and Jessica Bane now run it as the third generation. The menu centers on Southern breakfast and lunch plates like fried catfish with spaghetti, shrimp and grits, wings and eggs, and waffles. The restaurant received a James Beard Foundation America's Classics Award in 2026.
