A Polished Work is a Black woman-owned nail spa that opened in 2013 to bring an elevated personal care experience to the South Side, at 76th Street and Ellis Avenue. It offers manicures, pedicures and nail care with a team of technicians, sells branded goods, rents out its APW Garden for events and hosts a yearly Juneteenth block party on Ellis.
