About the business

Nail art studio and artist residency in Detroit's Sugar Hill Arts District

Description

Cure Nailhouse was founded by Detroit artist Cyndia Robinson, whose graduate research at Wayne State on inequities facing Black women in the nail industry led her to build a studio centered on Black nail artists. The Garfield Street space in the Sugar Hill Arts District offers 2D painted, 3D sculpted and mixed-media assemblage nail sets alongside soak room pedicure-style treatments, and doubles as a residency and training space for nail techs.
