Lisa Nelson, known as Queen Trini Lisa, brings the food of her native Trinidad and Tobago to Mid-City. Her island soul food draws on African, East Indian and Asian influences she learned in her mother's kitchen. Eater New Orleans named it Restaurant of the Year in 2022.
