Carver Federal Savings Bank was founded in 1948 by Harlem community leaders to serve Black New Yorkers shut out of mainstream banking. Its corporate headquarters and flagship branch sit at West 125th Street and Lenox Avenue, with more branches in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, Flatbush, Atlantic Terminal and St. Albans. The CDFI-certified bank offers checking, savings, CDs and small business and community development lending.
